  • Sorry cjgy2k but the government does subsidize all forms of transportation from OTRT to rail to airline. NONE of these industries fully carries their own costs of their industry.

  • The post office has not taken a dime of taxpayer money since 1982. It is totally funded by revenue of selling stamps and delivering mail. However they are capped in how much they can charge for services and what services they can provide, so they can't compete directly with UPS, FedEx, etc.

  • c'mon bb427 -If the Tper's were really worried about the deficit then where were they when Cheney said "deficits don't matter' and when 'W' and his bunch were funding two wars completely off the books? Afghanistan and Iraq were NEVER in the budget during the eight Bush years.

  • My dad is a tea-partier and he is rascist. Not in a heavy-handed, KKK sort of action but he believes that whites are superior and he is bothered that a black was elected President.
